From Hayden & Radeen Cochran Island Packet 35 Island Spirit

The Island Packet Power Triangle has finally been established and will dominate the Naptown Harbor from all angles! Yes that is right, IP has taken over Annapolis in prep for the 2007 sailboat show. The IP Power Triangle or IPPT is based around three strategically placed Island Packet points.

IPPT Point #1: The end of EGO ALLEY and the 6 boat fleet presented by Gratitude Yachting Center. Power play for sure! Very impressive. The largest dealer display!

IPPT Point #2: Directly in front of the CHART HOUSE RESTAURANT sv/Charmed IP440 hard working boat show building Debbie and Craig!

IPPT Point #3: Directly off the base of the SPA CREEK BRIDGE at the Annapolis Yacht Club sv/Island Spirit with studying graduate students Hayden and Radeen!

These three power points make up a triangle that is visible from all points of the show. If you are in the show you will see GYC’s IPPT point #1. If you are arriving via the harbor or taking a water taxi you will see IPPT point #2. If you are arriving Naptown via the Spa Creek Bridge or if you are walking to the show from Eastport you will see IPPT point #3. As it is right now, there will be no point in the show or the immediate area where you will Not be able to see the Island Packet GOLD FLAGS. This is SO COOL and I am calling it the IP Power Triangle.

So come on down to Annapolis. MD and take a look at the Island Packet Power Triangle. We are flying the logos proudly!

Gratitude Yachting Center Arrives In Annapolis

Our crew from Gratitude Yachting Center arrived in Annapolis MD on Monday, October 1st for the 2007 show and everything went smoothly. The sail over was great and the day was beautiful. Along the way we saw watermen from Rock Hall and the Chesapeake starting their first day of the 2007 oyster season.

As we (Gratitude Yachting Center and Island Packet Yachts) have the largest display of any single family owned dealership and company, we are always located at the head of Ego Alley, and our boats are always the first to go in.

We arrived with the 485, 465, 445, 440, 370 and SP Cruiser and were met by our friends Hayden and Radeen Cochran of Island Packet 35 Island Spirit. Hayden and Radeen have been busy hanging Island Packet banners and scoping out the anchorages for mooring balls and spots for other Island Packet owners.

Greg Myers of Island Packet 420 Anywhere drove the 445 in and scoped out the oyster shooters at Middleton's Tavern. He was happy to report that after 36 shooters, that they were just right. Ron Olsen of Island Packet 420 Ragdoll drove in with Ed Kurowski on the new 465.

We are ready to go and to see you all! Hurry up Thursday! Enjoy our move in shots from below.
